Biography

• Marian was born in Skalbmierz, Poland, in 1953.

• He played for three major league soccer teams: Stal Mielec, Legia Warszawa and Arka Gdynia. Marian played with some of the biggest stars in the history of Polish soccer (Lato, Domarski, Kasperczak, Deyna, Gadocha, Cmikiewicz, Musial and Kupcewicz).

• With Arka Gdynia, Marian won the Polish Soccer Cup in 1979.

• He studied at the Academy of Physical Education and Sport in Gdańsk-Oliwa

• In 1981 and 1982, he played for the American soccer team, the Cleveland Force.

• In 1982, he founded a construction company, Marian Professional Construction, in Chicago, IL, which increased its annual revenue to more than 15 million by 2002.

• In 1993, he organized (under the patronage of the PNA) the largest soccer tournament in the history of the Polish American community. 34 teams from the United States, Canada, and Poland, including Kazimierz Górski’s Eagles, participated in the tournament held in Chicago, IL. No one has organized a bigger event since then.

• In 1994, Marian established Lodge 3275 of the Polish National Alliance and he has since acted as president of the Lodge.

• Also in 1994, he was one of the three founders of the Chicago, IL – based Polish-American Chamber of Commerce (PACC).

• In 1996, together with PNA lodge 3275, Marian promoted PNA, the Polish American community and Poland during the Olympics in Atlanta, GA, by organizing the Polish Village in Avondale Estates, GA, where, on two occasions, he hosted the President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski and the President of the International Olympic Committee, Antonio Samaranch. It was the single biggest promotional event of Poland in over 100 years of Olympic history. After the Olympic Games, all 17 Polish medal winners visited the Chicago PNA home office as special guests.

• In 1996, Marian was awarded the Cavaliers’ Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland for his efforts to promote Poland during the ’96 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA.

• In 1997, he received an Associate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.

• In 1999, during the PNA convention in Buffalo, NY, he was elected as a National Director of the Polish National Alliance.

• Also in 1999, he established Poland Investment Group, in Chicago, IL. The company bought 100% of the shares of the Namysłów brewery.

• During the 2003 PNA convention in Denver, CO, Marian was a candidate for the PNA National Treasurer office.

• In 2004, Marian founded Pulaski Investment, Inc.

• In 2005, in Philadelphia, he ran for the president of the PNA.

• In 2007, he was elected as a delegate to the National Convention of PNA in Jersey City, NJ.

• In 2008, he established Pulaski Marketing, Inc. which promotes Sobieski vodka amongst the Polish community in the U.S.

• In 2008, Marian was elected as a vice-president of Council 177 of the PNA.

• In 2011, he was elected as a delegate to the PNA Convention in Minneapolis, MN.
